Introducing the President of Alphachips

Joseph Ko

President of Alphachips

Joseph Ko is a semiconductor industry leader with more than 22 years of experience at Samsung Electronics, where he held executive leadership positions across the Memory, Foundry, and System LSI businesses.

Throughout his career, he led design platform development, IP development, and new business initiatives, contributing to the advancement of Samsung's semiconductor technologies through both technical expertise and strategic leadership. His broad experience across Samsung Electronics' major semiconductor businesses provides a unique perspective on technology innovation, platform development, and business growth. Dr. Ko received both his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida.

At Alphachips, he is driving technology leadership and strengthening the company's competitiveness in next-generation semiconductor design.
